Name: Rob Steinberg

Bio: Rob Steinberg has been coaching youth baseball for 15 years. When asked what made him decide to become a coach Rob answered, “To pay it forward. I had great coaches in Quisenberry, Gil Patterson, Mookie Wilson and many others who passed their knowledge onto me”. Rob was the president of the NY Hurricanes from 2000-2004 and in those four years they won 32 Championships. Coach Steinberg took the NY Hurricanes to the AAU Nationals and placed 3rd in a field of 68 teams. When looking for a player Rob looks for the desire to play the game and of course the maturity of skill set, based on age. When asked what advice he gives to his players about baseball he answered, “That it's a game of failure and you must be able to learn from your mistakes and let it roll off your shoulders. Develop your skills and maintain the games integrity and your own”. When asked what advice he gives to his players about life Rob answered, “That baseball is a game of controlled chaos, to think before you speak and when life gets chaotic, you are prepared mentally”.

Age Group: 14U
Bio: Bobby Brennan plays shortstop for the 14U Concord Cannons out of Concord New Hampshire. Bobby attends Noble Middle School where he plays for the baseball team as well as playing Fall Ball on the Varsity team. When asked what one moment in his baseball career he remembers most Bobby answered "hitting my first home run on Fathers Day". Bobby was fascinated with baseball at a young age and he first started playing at the age of four. Besides shortstop Bobby also plays second base and outfield. When asked who has influenced him in a positive way Bobby answered "Bryan Caruso my Concord Cannons Coach is very knowledgeable and hes taught me a lot about the game and he spends a lot of time making me better".

Bio: The Eckley Reds led by Head Coach Robert John formed in 2006 as a 10U team. The team has been successful for 2 reasons; total team effort, fundamentals and to not dwell on winning. If you execute all the small fundamental things as a team, success follows. We have a great group of kids and families. The Eckley Reds have played in Pennsylvania, Delaware and will be heading to Maryland this year. When asked what there greatest achievement as a team was Coach John answered; “bringing back the passion of baseball to the area our kids live in.
